Pathways Graduation Highlights of 2025

Congratulations, Class of 2025! (1)

Pathways Vancouver:

"The celebration took place at Creekside Community Center, a beautiful place by the water. The staff team converted the room into a fabulous Graduation Hall. There was a bubble tea station, individuals Poke Bowls, speeches, games, raffles, a photo booth, music and a ton of laughter, memories and connections."

– Alejandra, Senior Manager, Alumni Engagement

Pathways Verdun, Longueuil, Lachine and Pointe-Saint-Charles:

"This was the biggest combined Montreal Mega Grad yet! Five Alumni Ambassadors supported the event, and I couldn't be more proud. They mingled with new graduates to promote the Pathways Alumni Network until the very end of the event!"

– Saskia, Alumni Engagement Officer

Pathways Saskatoon:
"I loved the speeches. There was a tribute to parents, staff, tutors, a reply to students from a tutor, the valedictorians–they really recognized the holistic group of people surrounding the young person and the role they play."

– Martha, Director, Programs

Pathways Ottawa:

"The team did a beautiful job of decorating, and making each student feel honoured and special. The Valedictorian gave a beautiful speech, in which she shared that Pathways is more than a program–it's a lifeline."

– Melanie, Director, Government Partnerships

Pathways Québec City:

"So many highlights! The elegant and radiant graduates, ready to write their next chapter. The buffet, carefully prepared by the staff themselves–a gesture full of love and pride to properly celebrate the youth–and the emotion in their eyes, proud to see them reach this milestone. And above all, the collective pride that lingered in the air all evening."

– Tanya, Knowledge Manager, Programs

Pathways Regent Park:

"We had the honour of hearing from several remarkable graduates and an alumni speaker who shared the powerful impact of the Pathways program. Their stories of dedication and resilience were truly moving and were definitely the highlight of the night. It was a beautiful evening showcasing the strength and potential within our communities."

– Kara, Director, Corporate Partnerships

Pathways Drummondville:

"What a joy it was to attend the Drummondville graduation celebration with my colleague Saskia. We got to witness all the magic that the team creates for the youth and their families. The slushie bar and candy bar were definitely a big hit, and we recruited our very first alumni ambassador from Drummondville... which is also my hometown! It truly felt like a full circle moment for me that I'll carry with me for a long time."

– Andréa, Development Officer

Pathways Winnipeg:

"There was a red carpet lined by gold stars with the names of each graduate written on them–it really honoured the students like the super stars they are. Jordan Bighorn, CEDA executive director, opened the event with an honour song, which was incredibly moving."

– Owen, Senior Manager, Community Engagement

Pathways Gatineau:

"They presented a beautiful video reel of program staff visiting each new graduate's home to personally deliver a bouquet of flowers, a handwritten note from their SPSW, and to install a lawn sign that read A Pathways graduate lives here!"

– Saskia, Alumni Engagement Officer

Pathways Spryfield:

"It was a truly special evening celebrating the Pathways Spryfield class of 2025, the energy and support in the room were undeniable. Highlights included heartfelt speeches and student awards from Pathways staff Laura, Ben, and Danielle, a delicious lasagna dinner, and inspiring words from local RBC-sponsored Olympian Tyler Laidlaw. It was amazing to see all the potential in the room and the bright futures ahead!"

– Nadine, Development Officer, Corporate Stewardship & Activation

Pathways Scarborough Village:

"The celebration was fantastic. There were eight alumni supporting the event, including four alumni ambassadors. Everyone loved the ice cream truck, the caricature artist and the games!"

– Alejandra, Senior Manager, Alumni Engagement
